Got this from Tyler J over on the comics forum of the WB in this thread

Tyler J stated over there:I am moving as fast as I can on this, and I hope to have at least one trade out this year.

As for new stuff...well...I can't say anything just yet
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No telling how it will come out - extras, B&W, same number of issues as previously or not, but good news none the less for new readers.

I thought it was interesting in the Capullo thread when bogeyman said

"i don't know why, but i think that for issue #150 they will do something like releasing variants, one drawn entirely by Greg, the other one drawn entirely by Angel, and the 3rd drawn by Todd, but that's just me"

That was followed by Tyler J saying.

    "*bites tongue*"

That would be very cool. To get some new Spawn art from both Todd and Greg.

And the hunt would be on again for me to find all three as I am lucky enough now to be able to find one of the regular issues still on the shelf when I hit the comic shop

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Just tell your local comic shop ahead of time that you want all 3 versions (if that really happens). Most comic shops will hold comics for a person that lets them know early what they want. By early I mean tell them before the order. We should know 2 to 3 months ahead of time what is going to happen.

I'll be trying that - but with their "hold rules" and "help out rules" - I just don't buy enough from them to make it on their "inconvienence radar" I collect 2 monthly comics, and pick up a mini series here and there - they don't want to talk to you in this town about holding until you collect atleast 7 monthly over a 12 month period

Bummer - but what can you do

While it would be interesting to see Todd do a issue, I doubt it'll happen.

That's too bad Meg. My shop holds out Spawn and Case Files for me each time and anytime I want something extra, no problem.

Spilff- I also don't see a full comic from Todd. But they could do say 15 pages each on one large comic.

May have to move your way

Either that - or give you a marker from me to help out (and the cash well ahead of time) if they end up doing something like that.

I am hoping if we end up moving to Richmond, VA the comic shops are a little better than the 2 we have here that are accessible.

The one cool one that I could probably get help from is a good 45 minutes up north of me. Too far to drive enough to make my face known to them to see if they'd help out

TMP has stated in the past that they will be doing more issues per TPB this time around. The small size of the previous ones was the biggest complaint they had in the past. Expect 10 - 15 issues per, with a selling price in the $20 range, if not more.

    Hmm...interesting.

What they need to do is get on making AoF come out faster.
